The Safety Touch is an antibacterial tool made of silicone that allows people to never have to touch unhygienic public devices such as an ATM machine, door handles or public transport bars ever again.
Why it matters
With people becoming far more aware of how diseases spread and wanting everything to be sterile, this tool might be an alternative to the usage of chemical products. To what extent will people go in order to preserve their health? And what other nifty products could we see make headway to help prevent the spread of germs?
This summer, Quiksilver, the designer surfing apparel brand, launched swimwear that mimicked traditional Austrian leather trousers (lederhosen). The range soon gained cult status.
In the context of its Fuel For Life range, Diesel created a fragrance fit to match its jean universe with the bottle’s packaging made out of denim. To promote the launch, Diesel organised a campaign in major French cities where people can get a free bottle of perfume in exchange for jeans they no longer wear.
