The Safety Touch is an antibacterial tool made of silicone that allows people to never have to touch unhygienic public devices such as an ATM machine, door handles or public transport bars ever again.
Why it matters
With people becoming far more aware of how diseases spread and wanting everything to be sterile, this tool might be an alternative to the usage of chemical products. To what extent will people go in order to preserve their health? And what other nifty products could we see make headway to help prevent the spread of germs?
Osisu takes discarded plywood, bottle caps and juice cartons and fashions them into contemporary furnishings. The company relies on waste from construction sites, lumberyards, factories and junkyards for materials. Given the constantly changing nature of the raw materials, no more than 20 pieces can be made for each design.
