The Safety Touch is an antibacterial tool made of silicone that allows people to never have to touch unhygienic public devices such as an ATM machine, door handles or public transport bars ever again.
Why it matters
With people becoming far more aware of how diseases spread and wanting everything to be sterile, this tool might be an alternative to the usage of chemical products. Russian fashion fans were treated to a show by French designer Jean Paul Gaultier when he came to Moscow and presented his designs at a train station. The Kazansky station was chosen due to its ornate decor to complement the intricate details of Jean Paul Gaultier’s collection.
German company DNA4U now offer custom-made jewellery created using the wearer’s unique genetic code. The customer provides a saliva sample from which their DNA is isolated, before being treated and contained in a glass vial. This vial then becomes the centre of the piece of the jewellery design.
