Taking cover under plastic waste

The designer Garth Britzman has used plastic bottles to create a cover for a parking space. To give it a bit of colour, he added dyed liquid to the bottles to produce a specific design.

Why it matters

Is this an interesting and creative use of recycled material? Are practical yet artistic installations the way forward to help solve a very serious problem such as plastic waste?

Sneaker fans uploaded a home-made video to Foot Locker’s Youtube channel to show how obsessed they are with sneakers with a chance to win a succulent prize: life-long sneakers (specifically, 65 pairs during 5 years).
