Sun kissed cuisine
“Sol em Sol” (Sun on Sun) is a mobile kitchen and restaurant that cooks food with solar ovens. Using seven ovens, they can cook for up to 40 people and meal prices range between 9 to 11 euros . The owners are planning to tour Portugal to get people from across the country to taste their sun-filled cuisine.
Why it matters
The concept of an outdoor, affordable, eco-friendly restaurant is an attractive one. All that is required to export the concept to other markets is sunshine and clement weather. Are they on to a recipe for success?
The energy zone is a Red Bull visibility tool, highlighting the energy drink shelves in store. It aims to increase the visibility of the energy drink category in store by framing Red Bull amongst other energy drink brands. The display has been placed in 3 cities in the South of France and raised the sales of the category by 30 - 40%. The brand plans to roll out the display in 200 other supermarkets in France.
Perrier has settled an event bar in the Parisian train station Gare Montparnasse. Called the Mixology Bar, it is offering alcohol-free cocktails that are made with its famous sparkling water. The consumers can drink Mojitos or Magic Perrier in a lounge ambiance, for prices going from 2,90€ to 3,90€.
