Shwop ‘til you drop
Every five minutes 10,000 pieces of clothing are thrown away. In an effort to decrease waste and recycle clothing, Marks & Spencer’s launched their Shwopping campaign.
Shwopping involves taking items of clothes you don't need or want anymore to a drop box. The store is partnering with Oxfam and raising money to help people around the world overcome poverty.

'Alma cheese, directly from the cheese maker' is the motto of this Austrian cheese company. To highlight the important work of the dairymen in the Alps of Vorarlberg, Alma has sent 10 people to live in an alpine hut in Bregenzerwald. Their experiences will be reported via a blog. One of the bloggers will be Lena Hoschek, well known Austrian designer, who creates modern dirndl dresses.
‘U2 3D’ was launched in Turkish theatres last month. The concert film featuring Irish rock band U2 is the first to be shot, produced, and screened exclusively with both 3-D and digital cinema technology. The film has received positive reviews, with many critics stating that viewing the 3-D effects was actually better than going to a live concert.
