Shwop ‘til you drop
Every five minutes 10,000 pieces of clothing are thrown away. In an effort to decrease waste and recycle clothing, Marks & Spencer’s launched their Shwopping campaign.
Shwopping involves taking items of clothes you don't need or want anymore to a drop box. The store is partnering with Oxfam and raising money to help people around the world overcome poverty.

To highlight the important work of the dairymen in the Alps of Vorarlberg, Alma has sent 10 people to live in an alpine hut in Bregenzerwald. Their experiences will be reported via a blog. One of the bloggers will be Lena Hoschek, well known Austrian designer, who creates modern dirndl dresses.
Virgina Tech University has launched the “DreamVendor”, an interactive 3D printing station. Users simply need to bring a SD-media card containing the data for the 3D print out to the self-serve shop.
