Portable dew
Portable dew
Designer Kurt Zimmerli created a handy travel humidifier. The engine and filter system weigh only 182g and nearly every 0.5 litre PET bottle can be used as a water reservoir.
Why it matters
Reduced to its basic technical form, this air humidifier can be used no matter where you are. This is an example of smart use of a readily available object in product design. Are there other examples where we could make a product travel by integrating locally available objects in the design?
