Marketing consultancy Barcelona Virtual offers a virtual auditorium called CEL in the virtual world Second Life, which can be used for conferences and business meetings. The service aims to cut time and costs, such as travel and event expenses, that would be incurred in real life but serve the need for people to ‘meet’.
City dwellers will often do anything for 5 minutes in the sun, especially if they live in a big city where buildings offer too much shade. Ray-Ban’s Bright Light application allows people to get the most out of the sun and their sunglasses by locating the spots in the city where the you can get the most rays.
