Pedal as you go

Pedal as you go

Nokia has created a phone charger that charges your phone with free and eco-friendly energy when you cycle. This equipment consist of a charger,  a dynamo and a stand to add to the bicycle. The mobile phone charges itself when the bicycle achieves between 6 and 50 km per hour speed.

Why it matters

Eco products that utilise our own expended energy are proving popular with bicycles powering everything from mobile phones to washing machines. As we look to exercise more and decrease our energy consumption will two brands from the telecomms and sporting sectors co-create to create truly integrated solutions?
