PE Probe is a website that aggregates relevant information about Portugal’s economy and finances in English. It showcases statistics, events and documents issued by top organisations across the country. Created by the nonprofit entity Portugal Economy Probe, the website serves as a display window for the country’s assets.
Why it matters
The project is backed by renowned institutions such as the Portuguese Banking Association and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. The platform is a unique example of competitors getting together for the greater good of the country. Not something normally associated with headhunting, Wanted Selección is a Spanish HR company which uses authenticity in its approach. Using ‘homemade’ cookies, the recruitment firm write positive and affirming messages on their cookies such as sharing ’10 tips to be happy at work’. They created an unusual corporate video to help spread the message ‘be happy at work’, approaching the concept of job hunting in a more positive and quirky way.
Sony’s exclusive rewards program for the Playstation will allow members to advance through a three-tiered rewards system: Select, Pro and Legendary. Members can accumulate points to “level up” by purchasing Playstation products, playing new games, downloading movies and completing surveys. The program is set to launch in the US during Q1 2011.
