PE Probe is a website that aggregates relevant information about Portugal’s economy and finances in English. It showcases statistics, events and documents issued by top organisations across the country. Created by the nonprofit entity Portugal Economy Probe, the website serves as a display window for the country’s assets.
Why it matters
The project is backed by renowned institutions such as the Portuguese Banking Association and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. The platform is a unique example of competitors getting together for the greater good of the country. Zaask is a website aimed at linking professional and amateur freelancers (taskers) to businesses and contractors (askers). The website has a rating system that promotes meritocracy: if you do the job correctly, you will have a better chance of getting the next one.
The Poko company has introduced a unique advertising format that consists of planting more than 100,000 flowers in a field of over 10,000 square meters. This type of advertising targets air travelers.
At the moment, it is only available at “El Prat” airport (Barcelona). The company is also negotiating to hire advertising land next to the main Spanish airports.
