Happy tweet, jazzy beat
Red Bull is taking tweets and turning them into beats. A tweet is analysed and is associated to a unique sound clip that has an upbeat or downbeat sound based on the emotional sentiment of the tweet.
Why it matters
Music has always been connected to our mood. As we share our moods more and more on social media networks, can a tool such as this one make us more aware of our collective wellbeing and more importantly, can it change our behaviour?
The Dutch magazine market has seen an explosion in the number of “personality glossies” launched. Popular figures in media and entertainment are launching their own lifestyle magazines, with the most recent success being LINDA, launched by actress and presenter Linda de Mol. The ‘Me Mag’ phenomenon started in the US with Oprah Winfrey’s hugely successful O magazine. But until now no-one has really tried to emulate this success in the European market.
Every five minutes 10,000 pieces of clothing are thrown away. In an effort to decrease waste and recycle clothing, Marks & Spencer’s launched their Shwopping campaign.
Shwopping involves taking items of clothes you don't need or want anymore to a drop box. The store is partnering with Oxfam and raising money to help people around the world overcome poverty.
