Italian supermarket iPer La Grande has created a new sub brand iNaturale that uses social media to connect with customers about environmental issues.
Why it matters
Having a green sub brand gives retailers a new platform from which to build their environmental credentials. In the future will we see retailers with other sub brands, such as Family and Premium?
Kitsch jewellery store Tatty Divine have joined forces with East London’s hairstylist to the stars, Charlie le Mindu in a bid to offer their consumers an increased range of products and services. Charlie’s pop-up salon is located within the store itself and each style comes with its own free Tatty Devine/Charlie Le Mindu hair accessory.
Cantina da Estrela is a new Lisbon restaurant that allows it’s diners to be it’s critic. When it comes to price, customers are teachers and the chef and his team are the students trying to get good grades. Customers decide what they pay according to their level of satisfaction and even do the maths at the end.
