Don’t be afraid to lose your credit card anymore
The US bank Citibank has developed a smartphone app which enables clients to block their credit card with their smartphone in case of loss. They can also unblock their card if it turns out not to be lost.
Why it matters
Losing a credit card is often troublesome for consumers. Citibank’s app solves this problem easily. Moreover, gaining control of their credit card may be an opportunity for consumers to develop other uses for the app, like a way to control their expenses.
