Digital life after death
La Vie d’Après (“The afterlife”) is a web service designed to secure your digital life… after you’re dead. It allows the subscriber to stock their documents in a numeric vault, to write their memoires and add pictures and videos, and register their mailboxes and social websites’ passwords to so their relatives can handle their e-reputation.
Why it matters
With the digital life becoming as real as “real life”, will we see more services crossing over the digital divide? Could web-based comprehensive insurances become the norm, to protect surfers against online defamation or misuse?
