Why it matters
With even toilets becoming multi-sensory experiences, what other public spaces (such as car parks/lifts/changing rooms) will be designed and run to feed the five senses?
Designer Chmara Rosinke created a mobile kitchen, table and stools made of wood. It also features a foot pump to run water or pots for growing spices. All objects can be folded and easily moved from one place to another.
A Japanese karaoke chain is now offering single karaoke boxes where individuals can practice their favourite songs on their own, without the embarrassment of someone hearing the (poor?) performance.
