Bright blind
Designer Makoto Hirata thought about a solution of how to change the potentially mind darkening atmosphere of rooms with no windows. His solution was to produce an electroluminescent “bright blind” that glows and so fakes the ambience of daylight.
Why it matters
Is this an example of our constant desire to find ways of making our homes healthier to live in, or is it simply a piece of art?
