Art galleries get virtual

Art galleries get virtual

Kunstmatrix is an internet portal and a piece of software which allows its users to design virtual 3D exhibition rooms to display their art. The space is able to be built for paintings, sculptures or installations. Within the portal, virtual exhibitions can now be easily held.

Why it matters

By putting virtual architecture to different use (away from traditional games) the Kunstmatrix creates spaces that do justice to the art on show a great improvement to endless rows of thumbnails. Could your brand enable consumers not only to be ‘content providers’ but also to let them be architects of your virtual communication infrastructure? To build and interact with your brand in their own virtual spaces?
