Shop windows become games space

Shop windows become games space

Starbucks is using their windows as interactive displays to engage consumers and teach them about Tazo Tea. Consumers use the window to play a game where their selected character guides them through an adventure to discover the unique ingredients in each of Tazo’s three new teas.

Why it matters

Starbucks’ interactive window display invites consumers to use sight, touch and sound to delve into an engaging story and right at point of purchase. The more senses we use in engaging a message, the more likely we are to remember it. How can you utilise your brands stores and spaces to create the engaging experiences that will bring your brand to life?

Melissa, an international brand known for its innovative plastic handling, launches its first shoe collection. As well as being eco-friendly the shoes, consumers are able to create unique designs by simply cutting the shoes themselves.

Why it matters

Consumers want to show that they are individuals and have their own style. More fashion brands are allowing consumers to customise their products, but is it no longer enough to only allow customisation when you buy and will the focus be more on product flexibility and the ability to continually modify designs?

First for fans

First for fans

The French mail order La Redoute launched its Facebook store. Through a new shopping tag, the 250,000 Fans of La Redoute have now access to a selection of items they can buy directly on the webpage without leaving Facebook. According to the e-commerce director of La Redoute, this is only the first step to the creation of a entire collection dedicated to the Facebook fans.

Why it matters

Brands’ issue on Facebook is no longer to attract fans but rather to entertain them by animating their community. Is private/pre-selling the future of e-commerce and a perfect way to reward brand loyalty?
