The Dutch branch Malaria No More has created an outdoor advertising campaign with real malaria mosquitoes flying inside the sealed poster to raise awareness for the fight against malaria.
Why it matters
Charities abroad face a growing challenge as people increasingly think locally, often opting to support causes in their own area. Malaria No More has tackled this by bringing a foreign problem to people’s doorsteps. Why it matters
The CarrotMob harnesses consumer power through social media to make a positive difference. Until now, the scheme has been successful on a small scale for restaurants, bars and local shops. Will we soon see high-profile brands compete on an international stage for consumer support via social media?
